About

Why Study Stress Management? Most people see stress as a negative emotion. In practice, there are technically no such thing as negative emotions. Instead, it is the way we handle and respond to emotions like stress that makes them positive or negative. In some instances, stress can be healthy and beneficial. Stress can make you think long and hard about an important decision, ensuring you make the right choice. It can fuel you with the adrenalin you need to get through a tough encounter, or prompt you to rethink something that may not be in your best interests. Truth is, stress cannot be avoided in its entirety - it is a normal and inevitable part of life. But when you find yourself regularly held back by stress, it’s time to take action. Stress management is not about eliminating stress, but learning how to transform a negative into a positive. Something that could make a real difference, both at work and in your personal life.
